Hello and welcome! I’ve practiced massage therapy about 10 years and I’m learning how to BETTER connect with those I get to work with constantly. When that connection is made, we both get to experience the miraculousness of what these amazing human bodies can do. I often ask the body what it needs…and then I wait for direction. It always answers. I’m thankful for the gift, that I am becoming increasingly aware of…and I love to share that gift. I’m a deep tissue/myofascial release type of therapist, but have recently taken advanced training as a Medical Massage Practitioner. I also sense energy from those I work with…and I tell them that I feel like a conduit for that energy to move, or do whatever it’s going to do…we just get to experience it. People say “sounds like deep tissue hurts”, but it’s not my job to hurt you, but on a scale from 1 to 10…I work around a 7 range (the hurts so good range). One of my clients described my method as collaborative, and I felt very honored by that description…and we work together to fit the puzzle pieces together, knowing that the body can heal itself, given the right resources. Look at your body like you were a pilot of an aircraft…they don’t just get in and take off. They make detailed assessments…Treat your body like it is a multimillion dollar vehicle and take care of it so it lasts as long as possible. We all need to be excellent pilots…so I would like to thank you in advance for the opportunity to be a pit crew member of your wellness team.

Some way back/random information: I graduated from Bixby High School in 1984, and have been in the Tulsa area since. I did 25-1/2 years…(to life)… in the corporate grind of the electrical supply industry. In 2009, I had the distinct honor of joining and working as a volunteer fireman for the Catoosa Fire Department. They helped me get an EMT certification soon after and I proudly served with those first responders for 12 years. A lot can be seen and experienced in the fire service…and I got to experience quite a bit… but I’m grateful, for all the experiences have helped me to grow to where I am today. I have the upmost respect for those who choose career’s in public service…and I even have have a daughter who’s a cop…matter of fact, I have 4 daughters and that’s quite and experience as well…but they are all competent, strong, beautiful women that I am very proud of. I’m also Poppa to 3 beautiful grand kids. And none of that would be possible without my beautiful spouse and partner, Sue Ann…we bumped into each other on a dance floor in 1999, and embarked on a lifelong journey together. I look forward to assisting you in achieving the best quality of life that you can.
